2004: Sander Vrugt van Keulen had been active as Vice-President of the Central Works Council at Vendex KBB for more than 7 years and had just completed a post-graduate course to become a licensed trainer. After several job applications, he took the plunge and started a training and coaching agency, a quite unexpected step.
it started as a one-man business
He started CT² in 2004 as a one-man business, but the business soon began to take on employees. ‘Practice what you preach’ means that, as an organisation, you also choose the best possible participation. And that is quite different from a traditional hierarchal organisation with employees on the payroll. The organisation has since been transformed and has grown considerably, and for many years, CT² has been a network organisation for professionals to collaborate on an equal basis.

That is why he chose to work with a free network of experts in many areas. With Sander at the centre of that network of experts, CT² can answer all customer questions for Works Councils and Directors, using the right expert with the best personal match. Within this network, knowledge, experience and expertise are exchanged regularly.
thousands and thousands of people trained and supervised
By now, many thousands of people have been trained, supervised and supported. Not just by Sander himself but also by fellow trainers such as Inge Telting, Mieke van Baalen, Martijn Visser, Rob Latten, Diederik Contzé, Herman Leisink, Maurice Buskens and many others. Some are also specialists; in negotiation, participation, pensions, accountancy or finance, for example. For actual legal input or support, we collaborate with Joost van Mierlo and Jolande Janssen, specialised lawyers in the field of employee participation and labour law.
Since 2010, assistant Elma Harmans has been scheduling all appointments and schedules. She makes sure the administrative side is handled and everyone knows where to go and what to do. Desiree Gerharz handles contacts with potential customers. Nigel Buis keeps all websites running smoothly.
