"I’m inspired by cooperation, a truly important element; passionately working on improvement and progress, achieving concrete results. In all aspects of life. In all my work, I apply the following expression: “An improved world starts at home.” We look for connections between people and items, senses and rationality, together and individually. As a trainer, coach and speaker, I always try to achieve a common and individual added value.”
Sander applies three core values to his work: Process, Connection and Communication. Collaboration, solution-oriented work, participation and employee participation are issues that he believes in and that he propagates by advocating social market thinking and organising.
In 2004, Sander Vrugt van Keulen founded CT², creative thinking coaching training. In the previous seven years, he was active as vice-president of the Central Works Council of Vendex KBB (now Maxeda), which at the time was a company with more than 53,000 employees.
CT² started out as a one-man business, and it developed into a company with employees. If you value different forms of participation, you will look for other ways of cooperating. That is how CT² developed into a network organisation, linking many experts, with Sander as the focal point.
He is not only a Works Council trainer but also coaches entrepreneurial people. In addition, he is in charge of many different projects, all related to personal development, participation and creative thinking in the broadest sense of the word.
He specialises in group dynamics of non-hierarchical teams (teams where nobody is in charge, but decisions have to be made together); coaching groups is one of his passions.
In recent years, his work field has increasingly broadened to include employee participation within organisations. Sander uses Large Scale Interventions (LSI) to counsel large groups of people, sometimes up to 500 per meeting, in cooperating on group-based decisions.
