The Works Council off-site team days cost money, so how can you get the most out of this investment? From years of experience, we recommend staying ‘on-site’ with all Works Council members during a multiple-day Works Council training or off-site team session.
An overnight stay can contribute positively to successful off-site team days/training days.

recommendations for a successful overnight stay
Book a good hotel with (business) room rental experience and a good restaurant. This ensures an optimal atmosphere for your off-site team days and enables the Works Council members to focus entirely on the contents of the off-site team days. Ensure that the hotel rooms are in the same building as the room where you have the off-site team days. That improves the experience even more.
Having catered meals also means you don’t have to worry about that. It also allows participants to improve their focus and benefit more from their off-site team days.
practical
As coaches, we have no commercial interest in the overnight stay. However, we do notice the benefits of overnight stays on an almost daily basis.
When working with Works Councils, it is common practice for the members to stay overnight during multiple-day meetings, and the SER uses overnight stays as PM costs in their examples.
In addition, scientific research has been conducted into similar situations. You can find more background information on this subject at the bottom of this article.
